LO4 Task 2: Presentation Feedback
based on my presentation feedback, I was asked to break down my finances a little bit more by finding out the price rate of a selection of magazines and news papers that I originally referenced as launch date forms of media.
After doing research I found that to advertise in "The Star" would cost me a selection of prices. After consideration, the correct advertising price for this particular print-based advertising campaign would be in the price range of £69-70, opting for the most expensive option based on client feedback.

LO3 Task 9: Advert GFX Logo Draft
During the creation of my MAK advert, I've had several ideas on what to use for the GFX at the start of the advert and how it should be created.
I've decided on keeping the graphics simple, only having basic movements to create this piece because of the use of other GFX later in the project. Here are the basic movements that I've decided to use in the work:
- Movement 1: Roof of logo falls on
- Movement 2: Door handle moves up and down
- Movement 3: "Home Improvements bar"pieces itself together block by block from the left
In relation to colour schemes, I've decided to stick to the original blue colour from the previous design of the old logo as well as the added use of the colour White to make the black logo stand out more against these bright colours.
All three movements from the GFX will happen simultaneously and will take up the running time of approximately 4-6 seconds with added voice over audio playing over.
Update
After consideration I decided to change my idea on what I wanted to be animated once I would come round to making my graphics. I decided to make my animation a lot more simple to ultimately make my work scheme more realistic and professional as I believe to many animations will make my work look a lot less industry standard.
I decided to use a professional looking lens flare, moving from left to right while the text on screen (Home Improvements) moves across parallel to the animation.
